Yes. Our building models are pre-designed to keep ordering simple and pricing transparent, while still giving you choices for colors and available options. Select models also offer upgrades such as additional doors, windows, insulation and other listed options.
Each kit includes the structural materials and components specified for that building model — including the framing system, engineered steel trusses, roofing and wall panels, trim, fasteners and required connection hardware. Many models also include doors, windows and other features shown on the product page. Every building page provides a detailed list of exactly what’s included.
Unless specifically listed on the product page, site preparation, concrete, permits, equipment, labor and installation are not included. Garage doors and other optional components are included only when specifically shown in the building package.
We use 29-gauge steel roofing and wall panels manufactured by Alcoa Metal. Most models feature Sherwin-Williams® coated steel backed by the applicable manufacturer paint warranty. Panel specifications and warranty information are listed on each building page
Yes. Our steel trusses are engineered for the applicable building design and load requirements. Truss drawings and specifications are provided as applicable for each building package.
Our standard kits use pressure-treated 6×6 structural posts along with quality dimensional framing lumber. Lumber sizes, spacing and other specifications vary by building model and are listed on the individual product page.
Foundation systems vary by building model. Some of our agricultural and value-focused buildings use traditional embedded posts as standard, while other models include above-ground concrete-mounted post brackets. Where available, embedded-post models can be upgraded to an above-ground bracket system. The standard foundation and available upgrades are clearly listed on each building page.
Steel trusses are securely attached to the structural posts using the connection hardware specified for the building design. Exact attachment details are shown in the building plans.
Warranty coverage varies by component and building model. Eligible painted steel includes the applicable manufacturer paint warranty, and other components may carry separate manufacturer warranties. Exact warranty coverage is clearly listed on each building’s product page.
Alcoa Post Buildings supplies complete building kits but does not directly perform installation. Customers may install the kit themselves or hire a qualified contractor. In some areas, we may be able to provide contact information for independent installers.
Yes. Every building kit includes assembly drawings specific to the building to help guide the construction process.
Engineering documents included with each building are identified on the individual product page. Permit requirements vary by location, and the customer is responsible for confirming local building codes, permit requirements, and site-specific requirements before construction.
Choose your building, select the available options, and place your order securely online. After your order is received, an Alcoa Post Buildings specialist will personally review the building with you, confirm your selections and colors, answer any questions, and coordinate delivery before the kit enters production.
In many cases, yes. We review every building with you before production begins, giving you an opportunity to confirm your selections and make available changes. Once materials have entered production or been ordered specifically for your building, changes may no longer be possible and additional charges may apply.
ACH bank transfer is our preferred payment method for building kit purchases. We also accept major credit and debit cards, and financing through Affirm may be available to qualified customers. Our team will review payment options with you before your order enters production.
A building specialist will contact you to personally review your order, confirm colors and options, answer questions, and coordinate delivery. Once everything is confirmed, your building will be released for production.
Yes. Delivery is free within 50 miles of our facility. Delivery beyond 50 miles is available for an additional charge based on distance, order size, and delivery requirements.

Our goal is to have most building kits ready to ship within one week of final order approval. Lead times may vary depending on engineering requirements, custom options, material availability, and seasonal demand. We’ll provide an estimated ship date when your order is confirmed.
Please inspect your shipment upon delivery and notify us as soon as possible if anything is missing or damaged. We’ll work quickly to resolve the issue.
Yes. We can supply replacement panels, trim, fasteners, and many other building components for most of our building models.
